ISO/IEC 17043 support

Software designed around how accredited PT providers work.

ISO/IEC 17043 sets out what a competent proficiency testing provider must do. EqasOnline gives you the workflow and the records for the parts software can carry, so your assessment is about your scheme, not your spreadsheets.

How EqasOnline supports each area

Confidentiality and impartiality
Labs appear as codes in your screens, each lab sees only its own results and anonymised peer statistics, and staff work under role-based permissions. Data security
Design and planning of schemes
Tests define measurands, units, result fields and plausibility ranges; rounds record dates, participants, samples and the report release date. Programs & rounds
Homogeneity and stability of PT items
An ISO 13528 Annex B check before dispatch; a failing batch cannot be dispatched until a remedy is recorded. Sample management
Distribution of PT items
Courier and tracking records, shipment notices, and receipt confirmations with the condition each sample arrived in. Sample management
Assigned values and statistical evaluation
One server-side engine follows ISO 13528, with a detailed evaluation report for your assessor. Results & evaluation
Reports to participants
Reports under your branding and document control, released on your date. Reports & certificates
Communication with participants
Round announcements, shipment notices, deadline reminders and reports-ready notices go out automatically. Programs & rounds
Complaints and appeals
Labs raise complaints and appeals against a round, with grounds and attachments. Each runs in a thread with your team and is closed with a recorded outcome and reason, and both sides are emailed as it moves.
Follow-up of unsatisfactory performance
An out-of-range result opens a corrective-action record. The lab documents the root cause and its corrective and preventive action, and your reviewer accepts it or returns it.
Records
Rounds, results, statistics and issued reports stay on record, with an append-only audit trail of changes. Data security

What stays with you

Accreditation is granted to the PT provider by an accreditation body (NABL, SANAS, UKAS or your national body), not to the software. Your management system, the competence of your staff, the choice of σpt and assigned-value approach, and the production of PT items remain your responsibility. EqasOnline helps you carry them out consistently and keeps the evidence.
